Able to handle 800hp, this clutch can handle almost any horse-power you can throw at it and still remain street able. Organic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast. This clutch kit is designed to be a high horsepower street clutch kit and is not designed to be used in a competition environment. Kit Includes: Pressure Plate, two organic friction discs, floater plate, aluminum flywheel and pilot tool.

We started using the RXT back in 2008 on our Shelby GT500 and have used it on every Lethal Performance manual transmission project car since. The RXT offers excellent holding power and can handle lots of abuse while still maintaining good street-ability and smooth engagement. The RXT uses ceramic friction surfaces which are designed to work great in both street and track applications. Whether it's a weekend warrior car or a straight up drag race car the RXT is an excellent choice.

When we built our 2013 Shelby GT500 with a 4.5L Whipple to make over 1250rwhp the RXT HD was the clutch to go with as we had exceeded the horsepower rating that the RXT offers. The RXT HD just like the regular RXT offers excellent holding power and can handle lots of abuse while still maintaining good street-ability and smooth engagement. The RXT HD uses the same ceramic friction surfaces that the RXT does but uses a higher clamping pressure plate which gives it more holding power and a higher HP rating. Whether it's a weekend warrior car or a straight up drag race car the RXT HD is an excellent choice.

The McLeod RXT Twin Disc Clutch kit with a lightened steel flywheel. Since the stock 2011 clutch assembly w/flywheel weighs 47.25lbs we wanted to make a kit somewhat similar in weight. The RST w/lightened steel flywheel ends up weighing 46.25lbs. The RXT is easily installed and has become one of the hottest selling clutch kits on the market. The RXT offers light pedal effort and smooth engagement making it easy to drive. Not only does this clutch offer stock drivability but it's very capable of handling some serious power both on the street and track. This is the same exact clutch that we run in our 2010 GT500 which has been 9.66@146 mph on slicks. Even after all that abuse the clutch drives silky smooth on the street. That's performance that can't be matched by any other clutch manufacturer.
