The Build We Gave Away
A Carbonized Grey 2022 Mustang GT on a Whipple Stage 2 3.0L, dressed in GT500-style carbon and built on BMR and Driveshaft Shop hardware. We built it, then handed one lucky customer the keys and $10,000 cash.
Not every build stays in the shop. This Carbonized Grey 2022 Mustang GT, on the 10-speed 10R80 automatic, was built for one reason: to give it away to a #teamlethal customer. So we built the car we'd want to keep.
The heart of it is a Whipple Superchargers Stage 2 3.0L kit with a 132mm throttle body, breathing through Kooks 1 7/8-inch longtube headers and an AWE Touring Edition catback with quad diamond black tips. Underneath, it runs a full BMR Suspension package, performance lowering springs, and a complete cradle and differential lockout setup, with a Driveshaft Shop one-piece aluminum driveshaft and 2000hp-rated axles to put the power down. Velgen Classic V2s wrapped in Atturo rubber and SP Performance brakes finish the stance.
Then we went after the looks. A Cervini's 2020-plus GT500-style hood, a 777 Performance GT500-style front fascia, a Lethal Performance carbon fiber spoiler and taillight bezels, and Ford Performance euro taillights gave it a factory-GT500 attitude without the GT500 price. The result: a fully built, fully styled Whipple Mustang that one customer drove home for free.

No. This one was built to give away, not to chase timeslips, so it never saw the dyno or the strip with us. It went to a #teamlethal customer along with $10,000 cash.
