When you're checking out on LP, you'll see the option to add an Extend protection plan to eligible products. Choose your coverage term (1, 2, or 3 years) and it's added to your order.
Your plan activates after the product's manufacturer warranty expires, so you're covered from day one through the end of your term. No gaps, no overlap.

Coverage That Makes Sense for Performance Parts
Extend protection is available on a wide range of products across LP's catalog (including electronics, fuel system components, forced induction parts, and more.). Eligible products show the Extend option automatically at checkout.
Coverage includes mechanical and electrical failures under normal use after the manufacturer warranty expires. If it breaks doing what it's supposed to do, Extend covers it.
Note: EPP coverage does not include accidental damage (drops, spills, etc.) or
damage from improper installation, racing use, or misuse. For your daily driver build, it's exactly right.
Eligible products show the Extend option automatically at checkout. If you don't see it on a specific product, that item isn't currently eligible.
No — Extend covers the part itself, not labor or installation cost. If a covered part fails, you'll receive a replacement or refund for the product.
If you return your product, we return the amount you paid. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, you may receive a prorated refund, less any paid claims.
Extend Product Protection makes a great addition to a gift. Transfer to the recipient using MyExtend or by calling (877) 248-7707. Upon transfer, an email is sent to both you and the recipient.
When you contact Extend, you will simply need to provide either your contract ID, email address, or another identifying piece of information.
