The Lethal Performance Mcleod Clutch and MGW Race Spec Shifter Package for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT gives you the option to choose the correct Mcleod Clutch and MGW Race Spec shifter for your application. Offered with the Mcleod Racing RST, RXT or RXT 1200HD clutch we've got you covered regardless of the type of driving you do with the car and the power you're making.
We've used the Mcleod RXT and RXT HD in several of our Coyote and GT500 builds over the years with great results. Add the best shifter on the market into the mix and you've got your driveline upgrade handled.
We recommend using the RST for street cars making up to the 750-800rwhp range that won't see any drag strip use as the organic material used on the RST isn't designed for drag use and will not last. With that said it's a great street clutch and holds a ton of power along with excellent drivability. If you're making more than the 750rwhp range or plan to use the car at the drag strip the RXT clutch is what we recommend. The RXT still offers excellent drivability like the RST but will hold more power and can handle the heat and abuse seen at the drag strip. If you plan on making more power than that or do extensive drag racing with the car the RXT HD 1200 would be a better fit. The only difference between the two is the pressure plate on the HD 1200 has higher clamping force than the standard RXT.
Finally a no-compromises short throw shifter that can not only handle the toughest rigors of competition racing, but also posses excellent street manners for your daily driver. Starting with a clean sheet, the RACE SPEC shifter from MGW now solid mounts to the transmission via billet strut arms and features a solid linkage rod connecting the shifter to the transmission giving a true "top loader" feel in every shift!
