VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0L Turbo 200HP - VRT-TIGN-200

VR Tuned offers an ECU flash for your Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0L Turbo. With our ECU tune, you are able to gain improved performance on the engine. The biggest difference when you flash your car is the overall improvement of the power curve. Your car will have much better throttle response all the way to redline. Where your car is sluggish off the line, your newly flashed car picks up right away and pulls harder through the mid and top end RPM range.

How to Flash Your ECU?

• Use the Alientech Powergate 3+ handheld device. This device is a touchscreen module that lets you store your original and tuned files to easily flash between them. See Instructions Here.
• Bring your vehicle to our facility where we can use our Master Cable to flash your vehicle.
• We can bench flash the ECU. To bench flash the ECU, you must remove it from your vehicle and send it to us. Once we receive the ECU, we will prepare the tune file and then ship it back to you for reinstallation. We do not solder or modify the ECU board at all. All ECU tuning is done via bungy probes that have a needle tip to provide an electrical connection.

Options:

• You can select to get both Stages of our Tune.  The Stage 2 is usually for those looking to maximize the performance of their vehicle.  Though not required unless stated, this is usually for those running a performance exhaust and at least 91-93 octane fuel. Can only be done if OBDII flashing is available.
• For this ECU Flash, we also offer the following features that are optional and can be selected:
  • Pops and Bang Burble Tune
  • Speed Limiter Raised - VMax
  • Some features not listed can be requested during the File Upload process

For reference, this ECU is a BOSCH MED17.5.
