The SHD (super high density) offset fin design allows increased cooling capacity in the same area vs standard density fin. With the billet flange, the SHD core was able to utilize 10% more surface area for increased cooling capacity. With a full modular design, you can simply install in a stock system, with stock lines and stock intercooler core, or you can couple with the Whipple Billet Super High Density upgraded intercooler core. The billet manifold, which is Type 2 black anodized fits directly in the stock location with no modifications required. The external inlet/outlet fittings feature two options:

    3/4" Stock hose fittings with increased ID
    1" Hose for EMP pump style/ice tank
