    SPE Motorsport Mustang/F150 Dual Fuel Pump Insert

    The SPE Dual Pump Insert is designed around customers needing only two pumps without the excessive cost of a full billet 3 or 4 pump hat setup or an expensive factory style twin pump FPM. The insert design allows the customer to put together a return style fuel system inside the pump assembly that's already in the car. It retains factory operation including use of the bucket and siphon circuit which makes it much easier to put pumps in vehicles that have many different factory pump configurations like the F150 (due to different tanks for bed and cab lengths, etc.).


    The SPE motorsport dual pump insert kit fits all 39mm style pumps including 255LPH all the way up to 525LPH hellcat pumps. They are retained and isolated by o-rings in a billet pump holder. The pumps feed a one piece billet manifold with a built in siphon port. From the manifold It feeds a custom -8 bulkhead which serves as the new feed. The factory fuel line is able to be reused as a return hose. All the needed components are included to install the pumps into a factory FPM.

    DESCRIPTION: 

    With the ever growing progression of horsepower, SPE Motorsport thought it was time to give the mustang guys some more power capability. It's not uncommon for GTR’s and Lambos to produce well over 2000 hp. The domestic market is used to needing mechanical fuel pumps or extremely high dollar electric pumps and control modules. Now there is a simple effective drop in solution. 

    SPE is proud to introduce our solution, The Tetrad Fuel Pump Module (FPM). This fuel pump module holds up to four 525LPH pumps or any other 39mm diameter pumps making the Tetrad capable of supporting 2400+hp on E85.

    The Tetrad is designed in a way to easily fit 4 pumps in the factory S197 and S550 tanks and utilizes the siphon just as the factory system does for the saddle tank. The factory sending unit also clips right on for a simple install.  SPE Motorsport also wanted it to be as adaptable to the customers needs as possible, allowing for multiple types of pumps and quantities. It was also designed to allow for the you to grow into it if needed. This allows you to start with 1-2 pumps and later be able to an addition 1-2 more.

     

    UNIQUE DESIGN: 

    • Patented Gland Seal- Wiring passes through a patented gland seal that allows wires to be added and removed with ease. The gland form fits the wire and compresses when the top flange is bolted down. Unlike bulkhead pass through fittings which are bulky, not serviceable and hard to fit. These hermetic seals don't allow you to service the wire and/or add pumps later on. The gland seal gives the customer the best of both worlds a great seal and serviceability.
    • No Brackets or Hoses- The Tetrad is completely billet with no brackets or hoses. The fuel pumps are held by an O ring isolated in a billet housing which dampens noise and allows for easy adjustment.
    • Fuel Plenum- The siphon circuit of the pump is pressurized by the fuel plenum in the module. This means the pump positions used have no effect on the siphon circuit unlike other fuel pump hats that create siphon off of one specific pump position. In those systems if the primary pump is not in the correct position it may not siphon properly. This is not an issue with the Tetrad FPM. As long as there is a pump on, the siphon will function.
    • Anodized- The Tetrad is fully anodized to resist corrosion from E85 and other corrosive fuels.

    The DivisionX Triple Pump Fuel Hat Manifold is the ultimate in upgrades for the fueling system. Accommodating those wanting to run two pumps for a bump in power, to those targeting 1200hp with ethanol – this setup is the all in one solution.

    The design of the fuel system supports up to three 400lph, 465Lph, 485lph, 535lph fuel pumps, delivering more fuel than the more standard 255lph pumps. The pumps are secured with O-rings for optimal height and to isolate vibrations from the aluminum body of the system.

    To cut the cost of upgrading, simplify the amount of parts and eliminate additional plumbing to reduce leaks we have integrated the merge for the three fuel pumps in the hat itself. Ease of installation is always a big concern for our customers and DivisionX is striving to deliver in this department.

    Any fuel coming back through the return line is fed down through a ½” stainless steel tube to the bottom of the tank. This helps eliminate aeration of the fuel, providing a more consistent pickup. To further reduce aeration a side port has been incorporated, channeling fuel away from the pump pickup. The supplied O-ring plug blocks off one direction or the other.

    Reverse engineering using a CMM arm, modeling OE components and with precision CNC manufacturing we are able to make the DivisionX Triple Pump Fuel Hat Manifold as plug and play as possible. We utilize the factory siphon system to extract fuel from the other side of the fuel tank. Necessary features have been CNC milled to mimic OEM design to accommodate the factory level sender, placing it in the exactly the same position as OEM.

    The wiring harness is isolated and sealed from the fuel tank with a proprietary Delrin wire seal. Delrin has one of the highest resistances to fuels of any plastic, so it was chosen to provide a lifetime of trouble free operation.
