2020 C8 Corvette longtubes from LTH 
 

 

Long Tube Headers (LTH) have released the details on their new long tube headers for the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette and they are a thing of beauty! These headers are made from T304 Stainless Steel with their Titan™ finish. They are available with either 1 7/8" or 2" primaries for multiple build types! And for the connections? 3 options: off-road, high flow cats or retain the OEM cats. The high flow cats sound awesome and BONUS are their new ECO f, eco-friendly cats.

Whipple 2020 GT500 Intercooler & Intercooler Block

 

 

Sharing the same technology that helps push the Whipple Superchargers to win race after race, the all new, super high density GT500 intercooler core is now available to help keep your 2020 GT500’s manifold air temps under control (even with increased airflow, where the stock system begins to quickly run out of capacity). The new core features 33% larger inlet and outlet water passages, for significantly increased flow capacity over stock or other aftermarket intercooler cores. The super high density, offset fin design allows increased cooling capacity in the same area vs the stock, standard density fin. With the billet flange, the SHD core was able to utilize 10% more surface area for increased cooling capacity. Put all this together and you have a more efficient intercooler that fits with the stock supercharger system, while being upgradeable with our intercooler block.  The intercooler block opens up the passages for larger diameter fittings & a tapered design, allowing a higher, smoother flow into the intercooler.  The block/manifold will work with either your factory intercooler OR paired with the Whipple intercooler for the ultimate cooling setup.

Palm Beach Dyno did some E85 testing on Ken’s 2020 Shelby GT500

 

 

Ken Bjonnes of Palm Beach Dyno has tuned a few 2020 Shelby GT500s with smaller pulleys but wanted to see what the car could do on the STOCK supercharger pulley with some basic mods and E85. Well, folks, it's IMPRESSIVE! Bone stock, the car made 668rwhp. With some mods, some corn & some tuning the car put down 858rwhp! That's a 190hp increase with just a few parts... Technology is an awesome thing. 

 

 

Here are the mods on the car:

  • JLT intake
  • Lethal Performance Race Pipes
  • Lethal Performance Resonator Delete
  • D1300x injectors
  • divisionX GT500 fuel rails
  • E85

Intake, exhaust, injectors for the E85 and a set of fuel rails (we'll release a video shortly on WHY you'll want these on your GT500). That's it.

Crank Support kits for multiple applications

 

Procharger teasing the Coyote guys

 

 

Mustang Hub magazine recently posted an image of Procharger's new Crank Support kit for the Gen 2 5.0L guys. Crank snapping has been a long standing issue, becoming more prevalent as we make more & more power with these cars and relying on the crank to drive the blowers. Procharger having the option to add these to kits is outstanding. We'll have them up on the site as soon as possible for you. 

 

 

MFP Australia Crank Support Kits for Whipple Superchargers

 

 

If you run a Whipple Supercharger on your 2011-up Mustang GT and you're pushing any kind of higher boost, you may want to look into the MFP Crank Support kit. We did a video and write-up covering the how & why on it, CLICK HERE to check it out. Since that video, MFP has released a new 6-rib option for the kit so you don't need to upgrade to the 10-rib setup to run it. We have these on the way to us right now and should be in our warehouse shortly to ship.

Attention 03-04 Cobra guys you are NOT FORGOTTEN! Our man Justin Wheeler from J2 Fabrication has finished his 03-04 Cobra Crank Support Kit for the #cobros and it's a piece of art. 

Check out the features:

  • 21mm Hex on tip of mandrel to allow CW/CCW rotation of engine
  • Support legs indexed into main plate to eliminate any chance of plate shifting
  • Multi-axis support gussets that lock bottom stand offs into the pan rails to ensure the strongest and safest method of locating the bearing plate without any chance of shifting or slipping
  • Integrated crank ring idler, eliminating the need for other AUX systems
  • 1/2" of diagonal pulley travel to make precise tensioner adjustments or aid in belt installation
  • Supports both 8 and 10 rib IW - Metco hub configurations up to 4lb Rings
  • Clears stock fan and all accessories

David Van Voris is catching attention in his 2018 Mustang GT. His turbocharged setup is fueled by our Lethal Performance return style fuel system and tuned by the badasses over at Lund Racing. He has a slew of goodies on the car from us, including BMR Suspension, Injector Dynamics injectorshis brand new Weld Wheels that look AMAZING on the car. His current best ET is 8.2, but we know he will break that soon...
