Tuning support for the 2024-2025 Mustang GT and Dark Horse is here!
That's Right, It's Here!
Thanks to the team over at HPTuners, they've cracked the code to the once "unbreakable" ECU on a few different applications, including the one we're most excited for, the 2024-2025 Mustang GT and Dark Horse.
With the ECU now able to be custom tuned, using either the HPTuners MPVI3 or their all new RTD4 device, a plethora of tuners, including Palm Beach Dyno, Lund Racing, and Shoemaker Performance have been hard at work getting custom tunes ready for customers and seeing how much potential these new generation of Ford cars have.
Just like all of the previous platforms, not only are we allowed to change engine tuning, we're able to change transmission shift points, adjust rev. limits, remove speed limiters, and a whole lot more thanks to this newly added support.
Support For Other Vehicles? You Bet!
While the big news is S650 Mustang tuning support, HPTuners also unlocked tuning support for a bunch of other new Ford vehicles that previously had little-to-no tuning support, other than Ford Performance's ProCal or Livernois' Calibration.
These applications are included in the recent tuning support update:
- 2024-2025 Mustang GT 5.0L (S650) (Including Dark Horse)
- 2024-2025 F-150 5.0L
- 2021-2025 Bronco 2.7L
- 2022-2025 Bronco Raptor 3.0L
- 2022-2023 Expedition 3.5L
- 2021-2023 F-150 2.7L, 3.5L, 5.0L
- 2023 F-150 5.2L Raptor R
- 2022-2025 Ranger Raptor 3.0L
