What's up #teamlethal fans, this is the Lethal Lowdown, your ultimate insider's guide to all things performance, power, and personality from the team at Lethal Performance! In this episode, we're going over a few big topics that happened in our industry over the past month, including added custom tuning support for more Ford and Whipple-equipped vehicles, ZFG Racing Custom Tuning is now here at Lethal, and a bunch of added Kelltrac components for Mustang, F-150, and Explorer ST.
More Support? You Bet!
We knew the team at HPTuners was hard at work cracking the code on the rest of the Ford lineup, including the 2024-2025 F-150 and Raptor, along with 2025 Explorer ST, and 2023+ Super Duty.
Just like the first round of vehicles, you can use either the HPTuners MPVI3 or their all new RTD4 device to custom tune your newer Ford vehicle, of course, with one of the various custom tuners we offer here at Lethal Performance, such as Palm Beach Dyno, Lund Racing, and Shoemaker Performance.
Shoemaker Custom-Tuned Whipple Dark Horse
With all the new tuning unlocks, you know we had to get with our man Rob Shoemaker, AKA "The Tunemaker", of Shoemaker Performance to get our Whipple Supercharged 2024 Mustang Dark Horse custom tuned with a full E85 Custom Tune. However, in order to run E85, we had to swap the injectors out to Injector Dynamics ID1300's in order to support the flow needed on E85. Luckily, we already have upgraded fuel pumps from KPM Fuel Systems.
After some datalogging and adjustments, we hooked our car up to the hub dyno down at Area 51 Motorsports in Lake Worth, FL, where we saw a whopping 1049HP and 751TQ!

ZFG Racing Now Available at Lethal Performance
One of the industry's top Ecoboost Tuners, known for his in-depth, precise custom tunes for Explorer ST, F-150, and Bronco, we're stoked to have ZFG Racing's support here at Lethal.
With ZFG's Custom Tuning added to the lineup, you can now grab all your Explorer ST components in one place, including downpipes, charge pipes, intercoolers, exhaust systems, suspension components, and more!
GTD Deliveries, But Where's the GT500?!
As you may have seen, Ford has begun delivering their Mustang GTD Supercar to their customers, including our man Vaughn Gittin Jr, who didn't waste any time giving his the RTR Vehicles touch, with a custom Neon Green trim done by another friend of Lethal, Stuart Ellis of Ellis Customs.
Unfortunately, Ford has not released any information in regards to ANY new Mustang, whether it's a GT500 or Boss302 or anything for that matter. We've seen the test mule shots which look promising, but it only leaves us open to our imagination of what Ford's cooking...
We think the GTD looks stellar, but what do you guys think as they start hitting the streets?
Kelltrac Madness!
Over the past month, our man Kelly Aiken of Kelltrac Innovations has been going crazy developing a huge assortment of products for a bunch of different platforms, including the S197 Mustang, F-150, and Explorer ST!
For the S197, Kelltrac introduced their Rear Spring Spacer Kit. Most commonly needed when people use a lowering drag spring in search of a softer spring rate but need to raise the car for better tire clearance and alignment characteristics.
For the Explorer ST, Kelltrac introduced their Viking Rear Shocks. These fully adjustable shocks are physically similar to and built upon the legendary Viking Double Adjustable shocks, but have their own Kelltrac twist on them. With Kelltrac's billet aluminum adapters, these shocks will fit and function perfectly on any Explorer ST, and come available in 3 versions; Street, Street/Strip, and Race.
For the F-150, Kelltrac introduced their 3/5" Drop Adjustable Lowering Kit. Thanks to Kelltrac's research and development with Viking Performance and UMI Performance, F-150 owners now have a race-ready suspension solution for any condition, whether you're daily driving, street racing, No-Prep racing or drag racing. Featuring more front shock travel, spherical bearing front and polyurethane rear mounts, and valving that just flat out works with the Leaf Spring Suspension.
