DSS has released a 3.5” Aluminum Driveshaft for the 2015-2017 S550 Mustang with a T56 Magnum XL 6-speed swap. Their shaft comes with a billet yoke at the transmission end with a 300m stub system mounted into a billet aluminum plate to ensure not only strength but lighter weight than the normal way of doing this type of end (look closely at the CV end, it's not all steel). The shaft only weighs 28 lbs and comes with special grade 12.9 uber strength hardware with back up lock nuts to ensure no loose bolts. We have been using this billet aluminum style plate for over 10 years on thousands of 1000+Hp Supras, BMWs and many more without any bolt issues. DSS offers a standard One Year Warranty.
Note: Only Fits 2015-2017 Cars with Factory Manual Transmission Differentials
Additional Information - Emergency brake cable bracket clearance/relocation may be necessary. Failure to check this clearance may damage the driveshaft and void the warranty.
WARNING: Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit MUST BE INSTALLED on the vehicle PRIOR to installing a Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Driveshaft. Any damage to the driveshaft (or any subsequent damage) caused by failing to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will VOID ANY AND ALL WARRANTY provided by The Driveshaft Shop.
Note: Cradle Lockout is required / highly recommended.
