Baer Track4 Front Brake Kit
Increase the stopping power in your 1979-1993 Mustang with this Baer 13" Track4 brake system! The factory brakes will struggle to stop your Mustang after you put all of the Go-Fast modifications on. This Baer Brakes Track4 system is up to the task of stopping that extra power! 13" cross drilled and slotted rotors will provide increased heat dissipation as well as better pad bite. Your Mustang will be ready to stop on a dime after installation of this kit! Baer includes factory spindles with hubs pre-installed.
Baer Quality
Baer is known for making world class quality brakes for a variety of different applications and uses. This Track4 brake system is no exception and 100% manufactured in the USA. The 4-Piston calipers in this kit are a 2-piece, forged design with six cross bolts for added strength. The calipers are fitted with stainless steel, staggered size pistons that minimize pad wear. A gloss black finish ensures this caliper will look great behind any wheel combination! The calipers bite a 13" 1-piece rotor that is cross drilled and slotted. Their rotors all feature directionally vaned (curved) rotors. The curved vane is longer and adds more stability and mass to the rotor. Most importantly, a curved vane rotor acts as a centrifugal pump. When rotating this pulls air in the center and pumps it out of the outer edges.
Stainless Steel Brake Hoses
This kit includes new braided stainless steel brake hoses. The factory rubber hoses are prone to expansion when they heat up which causes fade and soft pedal feel. The braided stainless steel design will eliminate line expansion for a firmer pedal feel and increased brake response. The correct banjo style fittings secure these lines to the caliper. Baer does not use pipe thread style fittings.
Brake Pad Type
This kit includes high performance brake pads. To make it easier for you to replace the pads when they wear out, Baer has utilized a 1998-2002 Camaro brake pad (D0749). When the time comes, this will make replacing your brake pads quick and easy.
Fitment Note
-A minimum size 17" wheel is required for clearance. Use fitment template below to verify.
-Master cylinder upgrade is recommended.

Warranty: Baer brake kits carry a one year warranty against manufacturers defects. This warranty does not cover damage or abuse. There is no warranty coverage for cosmetics such as powder coating or plating.
