Your Mini Cooper R56 is a load of fun to drive with its 1.6L engine. The simple ECU flash can greatly improve the overall driveability of your Mini. The VR Tuned ECU flash adds more horsepower and torque. Simple bolt on upgrades such as an exhaust, headers, air filter and intake will make your Mini overall quicker! Where your Mini is sluggish off the line, your newly flashed Mini picks up right away and pulls harder through the mid and top end RPM range.

How to Flash Your ECU?

• We can bench flash the ECU. To bench flash the ECU, you must remove it from your vehicle and send it to us. Once we receive the ECU, we will prepare the tune file and then ship it back to you for re-installation. We do not solder or modify the ECU board at all. All ECU tuning is done via bungy probes that have a needle tip to provide an electrical connection.

For reference, this ECU is a BOSCH MEV17.2 for the 2011-2014 models only.
