For being a supercar, the McLaren 720S has an awful amount of plastic strewn throughout. The engine cover, unfortunately, fell victim to this monstrosity being made out of cheap plastic. VR Aero offers the McLaren 720S carbon fiber engine cover so you can ditch that cheap engine cover with an elegant piece of carbon fiber. The 2x2 (3K Twill) weave will grab your eyes and draw you closer to the glossy finish that shows the depth of the weave. Using pre-preg carbon allows for the engine cover to be sturdy while offering the lightweight property everyone knows and loves.
An autoclave is used to ensure the ultimate quality is delivered and matches the same manufacturing process as factory McLaren carbon fiber. 3D scanning and CAD modeling allow for the engine cover to fit as precisely as the OEM piece while elevating the appearance of the 720S. No modification is required for installation and the install process is incredibly easy thanks to the OEM fit and finish.
