  1. Metco Shelby GT500 Supercharger Pulley (2.60")

    Replace the original 3.00" supercharger pulley with one of our precision-made supercharger pulley kits to add boost to your Shelby Mustang.  The kit includes a pulley hub machined from high-grade steel that presses onto the blower shaft.  The CNC-machined aluminum ring bolts to the steel hub using the supplied stainless steel fasteners, and this two-piece design makes subsequent pulley ring changes a snap.

    The steel hub is re-usable (unlike aluminum one-piece blower pulleys), and is nickel-plated for long lasting surface protection.  The aluminum ring is hard-coat anodized in black to resist surface wear, and after anodizing the ring is pocket-milled for good looks (2.60" ring only, shown second from left).  

    We recommend the use of our Auxiliary Idler Kit (Metco Motorsports PN MSI-90) with this supercharger pulley.  When these two components are installed together, the vehicle's original serpentine belt can be re-used.

    Note 1:  Due to the extremely tight interference fit of the factory supercharger pulley on the Shelby GT500 and the weak design of the pulley itself, the factory pulley is often damaged upon removal.  To change pulleys, the use of a hydraulic press is recommended but a high-quality pulley removal and installation tool can also be used.  We manufacture our own pulley tool and it is available under Metco Motorsports PN MPT0001, listed elsewhere in this section. 

    Note 2:  In addition to the overdrive (smaller) supercharger pulleys, Metco Motorsports offers a stock-sized 3.00" diameter supercharger pulley ring for this application.  If the need arises to return to the stock boost level, pulley rings are available separately (listed elsewhere in this section) and can be changed in minutes.

    Note 3:  The 2.60" pulley is also offered in a machined-finish.  Please call or email to check availability. 

    We also offer a front pulley cover for the black-anodized 2.60" supercharger pulley.  This pulley cover installs over the front of the 2.60" pulley to make it more stock-appearing.  This cover is listed elsewhere in this section under PN MSP260CVR.

    The steel pulley hub is nickel-plated and is no longer offered in the black oxide finish shown in some of the images above.

    The Metco Motorsports auxiliary idler kit for the Shelby GT500 is cleverly engineered to be a simple bolt on and to be the ultimate solution to belt slippage.

    The kit consists of a heavy-duty, precision-machined aluminum plate that offers three locations for the included 90mm double-bearing idler pulley. The plate bolts to existing bolt bosses on the vehicle and locates the pulley just to the left of the supercharger pulley, maximizing belt wrap and eliminating slippage.     2011 & Newer Shelby GT500 

    The Metco Motorsports fuel rail set for the Shelby GT500  Mustang includes rails precision-machined from billet aluminum, not commonly available extruded rail stock like other fuel rail kits.

    Because our rails are CNC-machined from billet, we were able to design them with the largest internal diameter available for this application at 11/16". 

    The rails include the provision to mount the factory fuel pressure sensor, and have two 1/8" NPT ports ahead of the sensor mount to allow for the installation of a fuel pressure gauge or sender and to provide a fuel supply for a nitrous injection system.  The ports are angled away from the blower case to ensure adequate clearance for bulky electric pressure sending units. 

    The rails are clear-anodized for long lasting surface protection, and precision-bent stainless steel mounting brackets and stainless fasteners are included.

    A special adapter (Metco Motorsports MFRS2000) is available separately to mate the front of the driver's side fuel rail to the factory fuel feed line.  This adapter is necessary to use the Metco Motorsports fuel rails with the original fuel feed line.

  5. Metco Motorsports GT500 Pulley Hub Removal Tool

    2007 & Newer Shelby GT500

    For Shelby GT500 owners who must remove the Metco Motorsports two-piece supercharger pulley from their GT500, this special tool is available.  The design of the supercharger snout in the GT500 application makes it impossible to remove the hub using a standard pulley removal & installation tool, but this specially-designed tool makes the process quick and easy. 

    The simple design of the tool allows the user to remove the press-on steel pulley hub from the supercharger shaft without damage to the hub or to the supercharger case.  The end of the center bolt is centered on the end of the supercharger shaft, and the included five bolts are threaded through the tool and into the supercharger pulley hub.  A wrench is used to hold the hex on the hub portion of the tool, and a second wrench is used to turn the center bolt, drawing the pulley hub off the shaft.  The tool is machined from the highest quality materials and can be re-used many times.

    Kit includes center bolt, pulley flange, and (5) bolts.

    If your 2007-2012 GT500 is equipped with our popular 2.60" supercharger pulley upgrade, you may add this stock-appearing pulley cover for a stealthy look.  This cover is precision-machined from billet aluminum and then black-anodized, and it simply slides over the 2.60" pulley.  The cover is secured using a stainless steel socket-head fastener (provided) that threads into the hole at the end of the supercharger shaft. .

    *Please note that this pulley cover is only compatible with Metco Motorsports 2.60" supercharger pulleys manufactured after Novermber 2012.  If you have doubts about compatibility with your pulley, measure your pulley ring and its widest point (just forward of the belt surface) to confirm an OD of 69.5mm.  If your pulley measures 72mm, it is the earlier design and this cover will not fit.

  8. Metco Motorsports Shelby GT500 Supercharger 2.60" Pulley Ring

    These pulley rings are designed for use with Metco Motorsports two-piece supercharger pulleys.  If you already have a Metco supercharger pulley on your GT500, one of these rings is all that is needed to change the boost level on your vehicle.  These pulley rings will bolt to your existing pulley hub using the same (5) fasteners, and no special tools are required for the change.

    Our pulley rings are precision-machined from billet aluminum and then black anodized for long lasting surface protection.
