Running out of fuel on your current build? Want to support more power or a different fuel type? The Lethal Performance FUEL+ plug and play dual fuel pump booster setup is the answer.

Our dual 40amp fuel pump voltage boosters provides a constant 18v to each of your factory fuel pumps giving you the ability to support more power and different fuel types. 100% plug and play design makes installation of the FUEL+ a breeze. No cutting or soldering is required due to our OEM style wire pigtail. Simply unplug the connector to your factory FPDM (fuel pump driver module) and install our FUEL+ unit along with the OEM style pigtail and you're in business.

The FUEL+ works for E85 conversions as well as cars running aftermarket supercharger and turbo setups. The FUEL+ is also tuner friendly and very reliable.

2015+ cars require trimming of the tabs on the side of the factory FPDM connector and pigtail.

    TUNING
We recommend a reduction in the fuel pump voltage table (under Returnless fuel pump) by 1-2 volts across the board and datalog for additional fine tuning. On the 11-17 5.0L Mustang the factory single fuel pump is modulated between high and low speeds by the PCM. We recommend changing the high speed threshold in the tune (under Returnless fuel pump) from 0.80 lb/min to 3 lb/min on supercharged cars. On naturally aspirated cars this value can be raised to 4-5lb/min for NA tunes and lowered back down to 2-3lb/min on a nitrous oxide tune.

More fuel than you know what to do with!

We all know the proven benefits of a VMP Tuning Fuel Pump Booster! Efficient, continuous 17v output (40A) designed to get the most performance from your stock or aftermarket pumps. It stabilizes voltage as well as increasing flow rate. Simply tossing a larger set of injectors into the system won't necessarily be the answer to your high performance fueling needs.

Until now, Fuel Pump Boosters or "Boost-A-Pumps(r)", a name owned by Kenne-Bell) have been seen as an "I'll get to it.....someday" proposition. Why? Because the average person doesn't have the experience nor confidence that they'll hook them up correctly. We heard you and we've solved the problem, making it uber-simple to install the performance headroom you need, doing it right the first time!

We recently had some questions about competing fuel pump boosters and how they compare to the VMP unit. The VMP unit is designed to be always on, it's a high efficiency unit and does not require any additional power wires or pressure switches. We do include a 30 amp fuse to replace the stock 20 amp fuse in the underhood fuse box. We hook ours up all the time to prevent any pressure spikes that may occur when a booster is triggered in the middle of a pull by a pressure switch. In the case of the GT500, the computer is already modulating fuel pump duty cycle and only giving the car the pressure and flow it needs. For tuning, we recommending you reduce the Fuel Pump Voltage Table (under Returnless fuel pump) by 1-2 volts all over and fine tune from there by datalogging.

    Installation Notes for 07-09:
When installing boosters the factory fuses should be upgraded, stock size is 15amp or 20amp and will tend to blow at the end of a WOT pull. Replacing them with 30 amp fuses fixes this.

Due to the GT500 being a mid-run addition in 07 the fuses for each Pump/FPDM (driver module) are located in different places.

The drivers side FPDM fuse is #41 in the underhood fuse box needs to be upgraded.
The passenger side FPDM fuse is in the fuse box mounted on the strut tower, it must be upgraded.
*07-09 GT500s use an aux fusebox to power the second pump, that box is fed by Fuse #66 in the main underhood fuse box (labeled as heated seats, which GT500s do not have), this fuse should be upgraded in addition to the primary fuel pump fuse.

    Installation Notes for 2010:
F13 and F14 in the underhood fuse box should be upgraded to 30amp.Learn More
