Aeromotive 96-04 Mustang GT SOHC A1000 Fuel System (No Tank)

For the Mustang enthusiast building a '96-'04 Mustang GT or Cobra with a 4.6L GT SOHC or Cobra DOHC engine. These complete systems are for serious projects that demand the right fuel system, installed right, the first time. Check out these new Aeromotive Competition or Eliminator, return style fuel systems.

Competition Systems feature the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, capable of continuous duty, and rated to support 800 flywheel HP forced induction and 1,100 HP naturally aspirated.

Eliminator systems provide the extra punch for more radical combinations, rated to support up to 1,100 flywheel HP forced induction and 1,600 HP naturally aspirated. Eliminator systems are rated for continuous duty but may require a P/N 16302 Fuel Pump Speed Controller to keep fuel cool in the tank during extended driving.

For Fox Body Mustangs through 1998, the Aeromotive EFI sumped tank is a bolt-in installation, sold separately. For 1999-2005 Mustangs, a sumped tank may be created by purchasing and installing the Aeromotive EFI sump box P/N 18650, and fabricating it into the original tank, also sold separately.

All systems feature Aeromotive's proven combination of bullet-proof, billet components, including:

Fuel Systems When modifying your vehicle the most important thing is to make sure you've got enough fuel to handle the power you'd like to make. The first step would be to figure out what power level you're looking to support. From that you can choose the appropriate system. We offer fuel system upgrades starting from a simple line upgrade all the way up to 1200rwhp complete systems. Making sure to pick the correct injector size is also very important. You want to choose the injector that best fits the HP level you're looking to support. Going with too large of an injector may be harder for your tuner to tune and may also sacrifice adjustability. 39lb injectors are typically good until the 550rwhp range. 63lb injectors are great for 550-725rwgp. 80's are for cars making 700-900rwhp. 105's are great for 800-1200rwhp and the 205's are good for 1100-1700rwhp.
