ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2021-2023 Ford F-150 4WD suspension systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. To achieve this, these systems include high-strength CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles that replicate the suspension geometry of the F-150 Tremor and are effectively a Tremor “conversion” for your F-150 4WD. This Stage 1 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring an internal reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable for 3.5-4.5” of front lift over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. Their combination with the ICON steering knuckles also allows for a 20% increase in wheel travel compared to other ICON F-150 coilover kits. Tubular Delta Joint Pro upper control arms on the F-150 not only add strength and durability, but help retain factory alignment spec range, increasing caster over stock and allow for the extra lift height this system provides. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series monotube rear shocks utilize a vehicle-specific valving that balances the performance of the truck from front to rear. This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint PRO. Delta Joint PRO is ICON's innovative new suspension articulation joint which combines the durability and longevity of factory style ball joints with performance and strength that exceeds traditional motorsports-style ball joints. The Delta Joint PRO features a new rebuildable, serviceable design in which any component may be removed, inspected, and replaced without having to purchase a whole new joint. Strength and durability are improved by using a larger ball with 56% more bearing surface than our standard Delta Joint, along with improved lubrication sealing. But improved performance is at the heart of the Delta Joint PRO, with a full 90 degrees of articulation, from one extreme to the other. This represents a 14% improvement in range of motion, over the highly capable original Delta Joint, allowing for maximum bind-free suspension movement through the complete range of travel. The Delta Joint PRO is built to take the abuse, with a chromoly ball and shaft that has a bearing surface hardened to Rockwell C 55. The replaceable races are made of graphite-impregnated sintered metal, machined to the finest tolerance to provide a flawless, metal-to-metal bearing interface. We also redesigned the lubrication system, with lubricant channels that distribute grease more efficiently without extending past the bearing seal.

Fabtech?s world-renowned IFS suspension design for the Ford F150 provides excellent driveability both on and offroad. There is zero bump steer throughout the suspension cycle that helps reduce driver fatigue while improving the overall driveability of the vehicle. The near-stock track width keeps the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. Fabtech?s proprietary steering knuckle geometry provides an excellent lock to lock turning radius to maneuver in tight spots. Heavy-duty 1/4" thick steel crossmembers feature eccentric style alignment cams for easy adjustment. Triple front diff mounts reposition the differential for vibration-free operation at high speed. The factory coilover shocks are relocated from the bottom to allow for full steering while achieving 6" of lift. At the rear of the vehicle, the factory 2" block is replaced with a 5" Block and u-bolt system. Fabtech has addressed all aspects of the suspension for proper wheel travel and lock to lock steering without over cycling. This lift kit is a great choice for Ford owners that want to run a 35" tires for a more aggressive look while preserving the excellent highway manners of the F150. Fabtech?s signature high arched lower control arm crossmembers are constructed of 1/4" thick steel for maximum strength. There is a 1/4" thick steel skid plate that spans between the lower crossmembers to protect the front differential housing from impacts of offroad obstacles. The heavy duty ductile iron steering knuckles retain the stock track width keeping tires under the fender for a clean appearance. The front suspension receives Fabtech?s heavy duty gas charged twin tube shock that aids in damping capacity both on and offroad. The extended length of the shocks reposition the stock front coils springs to accomplish the 4" of lift height to clear 35" tall tires. The rear suspension utilizes lift blocks and longer u-bolts to help level the vehicle front to rear.
