Constructed of 1-5/8-inch Chromoly tubing for high strength and light weight, and powder coated for durability.

Some drilling IS required: the Watson S550 (2015+) chute bumper bolts on in place of the factory bumper beam using the 2 OEM bolts per side, which IS NOT strong enough to sustain repeated abuse from parachute deployment. We add 4 additional bolts per side that connect the bumper directly to the frame rails under the car – that’s 12 bolts holding this to the car!

These handy tie-downs bolt on to your stock front K-member, no drilling or modification necessary. Powder coating would chip right off the first time you hook onto these, so we Zinc plated the heavy duty 1/4-inch (6mm) thick Tie Downs for long life. All lines and fittings are provided, and better yet- the rubber line is now produced UN-CUT and without the unnecessary sheathing. This gives you the flexibility to mount the Peterson Can in any location as well as flexibility in the vehicle you choose to use this on: 2005 all the way through S550 Mustang, for road racing OR drag racing!
