The RPS Billet Quad Carbon Clutch Kit has been designed and engineered especially for the LSX powered Corvette, ZR-1, Camaro, CTSV, ZL1 and GTO and the all new LT1 LT4, C7 and Stingray applications. The Ultimate high RPM, MONSTER POWER street and race quad 4 disc clutch is available in 6 bolt (LSX), 8 bolt (LSA), 9 bolt (LS9), and 8 bolt (LT1) flywheel designs. Of course this clutch uses RPS's innovative "strapless" cover design and patented, non-warping carbon floater system as well as a fully CNC'd lightweight billet steel flywheel. If you have up to 2,200 rwhp, then this is the only clutch for you!! The RPS Quad Disc Carbon Carbon clutch uses our special flat finger diaphragm for smooth and predicable 8000 RPM plus shifts. Our liberal use of Formula One inspired carbon-carbon friction material results in a lightweight clutch with unmatched long term durability while also being a very quiet clutch unlike many multi disc clutches available on the market. Each of the RPS Carbon Carbon kits, twin, triple, quad, are built with high grade carbon on every wear surface from the flywheel to the discs to the floater plates and including the pressure plate. This allows for the highest coefficient of friction available, compared to competitors using carbon on steel, maximizing drivability and torque capacity. The RPS Billet Carbon Quad Disc clutch kit, with its “Strapless” lightweight billet aluminum clutch cover and billet aluminum pressure plate, allows us to reduce the weight of the entire clutch and flywheel assembly to an incredible 38lbs.
The RPS Carbon Carbon Quad Disc Clutch Kit Requires the RPS Tilton Adjustable slave which will include a special designed RPS piston and all hydraulic lines including a bleeder line.
The BC4-04LSA-C7 clutch kit is rated to 2200rwhp.
