  1. BMR CB005B Level 2 Mustang Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit - Black Hammertone (2015-2024 Mustang S550 & S650)
    $209.95

Reduce Wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement on your S550 Mustang with a Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit from BMR Suspension. Built from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, stainless steel, and heavy-duty 1 5/8-inch DOM steel tubing, BMR’s CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is designed to nearly eliminate cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheelhop. BMR’s CB005’s billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings capture the inner bushing sleeve (front and rear) and the outer lip of the bushing cup on the cradle (front). The lower bushing locating washers (front) capture the bottom portion of the bushings’ inner sleeves. By capturing both parts of the bushings’ inner sleeves, movement on any plane (fore/aft, lateral, and vertical) is nearly eliminated. This assembly is completed with bolt-on cradle braces that replace the factory sheer plates. The large lug on the cradle side of the braces positively locates the cradle, ensuring it is perfectly centered under the car. The two bolts in the frame ensure the location of the cradle can’t change under any form of driving.

BMR Suspension designed the CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit for any application. This 100% bolt-on kit use existing boltholes and hardware, allowing for easy installation with simple hand tools. Once installed, the Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit minimized bushing and cradle deflection with nearly no change in NVH. (During BMR’s testing, no change in NVH was observed without accompanying modifications.) The cradle brace also gives a convenient, rock-solid jacking point on the rear of the vehicle. This single kit helps address wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement, unlike other companies that make you buy multiple parts to get the entire “system.” You would spend well over double the price, and those “systems” don't provide you with the performance and value-per-dollar that the CB005 gives you. BMR Suspension’s CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is the only part you need to affordably and effectively lessen wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement.

Throughout testing, BMR has seen about an 80%-90% reduction in fore/aft and lateral cradle bushing deflection. A car with no other mods and stock tires that isn’t driven overly hard is going to see a 90% or higher reduction, while a more race oriented S550 with sticky tires will see slightly less of a reduction. Launching the test vehicle at over 7,000 rpm on drag radials, BMR saw about an 80% reduction in bushing deflection. Through the testing BMR has seen a 95% or greater reduction in vertical deflection in all testing situations. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension!

BMR Suspension’s CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is available in black hammertone and red powdercoat for long-lasting good looks. Installation time is 1-2 hours. Proudly made in the U.S.A.!

  5. BMR Suspension 2015-2024 Mustang "Bread and Butter" Package

    From: $769.99

    To: $3,811.49

Almost daily here at Lethal Performance we are asked what the best & most important components are to upgrade in the rear suspension for the 2015+ S550 Mustangs. What good is horsepower if you can't put it to the ground?

Jared took a trip over to BMR Suspension in Seffner, FL with our 2018 Mustang GT (aka Project Goldmember) to get the “Kelly Aiken” treatment. While there, we were able to pick Kelly's brain on the IRS and it's components. He has a surplus on knowledge on these cars from not only his own car (even planting GoPros underneath to monitor the suspension's activity) but also from the vast amount of fast cars using BMR Suspension, including 2 of the fastest IRS cars in the country.

Based on his experience, we asked him to pick out what he felt were the most beneficial components for these cars, the “Bread & Butter” as he calls it in the video. The following components will support cars going well into the 8s and those wanting to see low 1.2-1.4 60's (If you're faster than that, they have components for that, too!)

In an IRS car there are a couple of issues to address. The first issue is that the entire cradle assembly will move/rock. In our 2018 A10 car, Kelly was able to point out just how much movement there is in a factory setup. The factory cradle bushing has a small lip on the top which is a limiter. On our car, when we launched it at the track, this limiter was hitting the chassis, leaving a witness mark on the body from the cradle movingLearn More

    BMR CB762H Subframe Cradle Brackets

Since 2014 BMR has been rigorously testing and pushing the limits of the S550 Mustang Chassis and Suspension and they are continually looking to improve upon it as each and every day passes.

Over the past few years BMR has seen an extreme demand for a bracing system that is compatible with our super-popular CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit, but making that happen while improving the mounting and rigidity of the IRS Subframe proved to be challenging. Our CB005 works so well that for the masses the redundancy just never appealed to us. The chassis of the S550 is very rigid, so bracing the IRS to the chassis primarily serves the purpose of reducing IRS Subframe movement under loads, our CB005 does this very effectively by itself.

After a few years of drawing parts up, making prototypes and testing, BMR finally came to a design in which they feel is as "good as it gets" when relying on bracing to add additional rigidity to the IRS-to-Chassis mounting. ADDITIONALLY, the CB762 kit adds additional reinforcement to the IRS Subframe itself by tying in to the front leg of the subframe where the leverage is reduced on the component. This area sees significant loads as it is directly in front of the Front Rear Lower Arm pivot point and just rearward of the front Subframe-to-chassis mounting point. In the rear we take the "zero movement" approach by mounting a SUPER heavy-duty plate beneath the sway-bar mounts and we then tie that into the rear bushing mount - it is locked SOLID. This rear mounting method ensures the rear of the IRS subframe does not move or drop at all under heavy loads, which in-turn helps with the movement of the overall system by reducing twist loads on the front mounts.

The best feature of the CB762 is that it will work on an S550 (hardtop coupe) that has any aftermarket IRS component installed, except other bracing kits that use the same chassis mounts. This kit also works with most Chassis Jacking Rails, to include our extremely popular BMR-CJR002 Jacking Rails!

BMR CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit

Reduce Wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement on your S550 Mustang with a Level 1 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit from BMR Suspension. Built from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and stainless steel, BMR’s CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is designed to reduce cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheelhop. BMR’s CB010’s billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings capture the inner bushing sleeve (front and rear) and the outer lip of the bushing cup on the cradle (front). The lower bushing locating washers (front) capture the bottom portion of the bushings’ inner sleeves. By capturing both parts of the bushings’ inner sleeves, movement on any plane (fore/aft, lateral, and vertical) is nearly eliminated.

BMR Suspension designed the CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit for any application. This 100% bolt-on kit use existing boltholes and hardware, allowing for easy installation with simple hand tools. Once installed, the Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit reduces bushing and cradle deflection with nearly no change in NVH. (During BMR’s testing, no change in NVH was observed without accompanying modifications.) BMR Suspension’s CB010 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit allows you yo affordably and effectively lessen wheelhop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement.

BMR BK081 Lower Control Arm Bearings

Minimize wheelhop and enhance the rear stability of your 2015 and newer S550 Mustang by eliminating rear lower control arm bushing deflection with a set of Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearings from BMR Suspension. The stock rubber bushings are great for absorbing NVH, but do little for performance. The large spherical bearings in BMR’s rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bearing Kit simply eliminate bushing deflection, transferring power instead of absorbing it. BMR Suspension’s rear Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings (BK081) drastically decreases lower control arm movement by eliminating deflection of the factory rubber bushings. BMR uses heavy-duty 1-inch spherical bearings in machined bearing cups to replace the factory rubber bushings. The cup and bearing assembly presses into the lower control arms. CNC-machined billet aluminum spacers complete the assembly. This allows for a perfect fit and increased performance for any driving style. The 1-inch bearing in the BK081 has an impressive load rating of 82,800-pounds and has a center ball diameter of 1.5-inches. This bearing is one of the most commonly used 1-inch spherical bearings in the industry, with an impressive track record.

Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications, BMR Suspension BK081 Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushing Kit is the perfect wheelhop solution for any S550 Mustang being used for performance driving. BMR’s Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings Kit offers huge increases in performance over the stock rubber lower control arm bushings. The OE bushings are designed with air pockets and are made from soft rubber. These “voids”, coupled with soft material produce excessive lower control arm movement during normal and aggressive driving. BMR’s Lower Control Arm Spherical Bushings kit installs in place of the OE rubber bushing, nearly eliminating lower control arm movement by solidly linking the rear portion of the lower control arm to the cradle. This eliminates almost all lower control arm movement, reducing wheelhop and increases handling stability, while giving you a much improved overall feel in any performance driving situation.

BMR also offers a Bushing Removal Tool for easy removal of the stock bushings and installation of the spherical bearing.

    Features:

    Fits 2015-newer S550 Mustangs
Designed for street performance, drag race, and handling applications
Replaces the factory lower control arm bushings
    Heavy-duty 1-inch spherical bearings
    Machined bearing cups
    Zinc coated for corrosion protection
    CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum spacers
Eliminates rear lower control arm bushings deflection

  14. Steeda Alignment Kit for Rear Subframe with BMR CB005 / SR Kit (2015-2023 Mustangs) - 555-4447
    $49.95

Steeda Alignment Kit for Rear Subframe BMR CB005 - 555-4447

You asked and Steeda listened! The team here at Steeda went hard to work when we started fielding calls of the rear subframe being misaligned from the factory and there being no solution with the BMR CB005 / SR Performance IRS Tie Down kits. So here you have it, Steeda's new S550 IRS subframe alignment kit for the BMR CB005 / SR Performance IRS Tie Down kits!

The S550's subframe mounting holes are very large compared to the subframe mounting bolts. Since there is a large difference in bolt and hole size, the subframe can be mis-aligned from the factory up to 1/2" left to right. The Steeda S550 Mustang IRS Subframe Alignment Kit is made from CNC-machined Delrin to avoid putting two dissimilar metals next to each other like the competition, preventing corrosion. Delrin is also less weight then aluminum or steel inserts and therefore keeping performance in mind. The Delrin sleeves slide into the subframe mounting holes, and fill the extra space left between the subframe mount and bolt from the factory.

Our Steeda S550 Mustang IRS Subframe Alignment Kit guarantees that the subframe will be bolted to the same location every time it is lowered. Eliminating the need for unnecessary alignments.

Note: Note: An alignment is needed upon initial installation, due to the fact it could have been mis-aligned from the factory and with it now being squared in the chassis, some adjustments might need to be made. This part is designed to fit with BMR CB005 & SR Performance IRS Tie Down Kits. Purchase your Steeda Alignment Kit for the S550 Rear Subframe for BMR CB005 / SR Performance for your 2015+ Mustang at Steeda Autosports today
