Vortech 1999 4.6L GT Kit w/V-3 Si-Trim & Aftercooler Tuner Kit (Polished) The increased boost level, high output supercharger system, features a fully integrated air to water aftercooler approach to charge cooling. Vortech chose the air to water system primarily because it closely maintains the boost level found at the compressor. Fuel and ignition system modifications are similar but different from the non-aftercooled kit. This system will produce 402 horsepower on an unmodified engine. Battery relocation is required and is not included in the system.
- Adds 142 horsepower
- Adds 98 ft/lbs of torque
- 9-10 PSI
- Includes Maxflow Power Cooler
This system features the all-new V-3 Si-Trim supercharger. The V-3 supercharger features an internally lubricated transmission, allowing for supercharger installation and operation without oil lines.
- Helical gear design with 3.6:1 step-up
- Includes remote fluid drain hose (attached to supercharger) that allows for simple fluid changes without removing the supercharger from the vehicle
- A ventilated gear case assembly eliminates any potential internal pressure issues that are currently associated with non-vented competitive designs
- Integrated gear case baffling for proper oil control
- Simple oil slinger design does not require separate shaft or bearing set. This provides proper fluid delivery to gears and bearings
- Superchargers are factory pre-filled with our special synthetic fluid.
- Integrated dipstick for simple fluid checks
NOTE: Battery relocation is required and is not included in the system
