UMI Performance 1975-1981 GM F-Body Lower A-arm Hardware Kit, Front - 1003
UMI’s new mounting hardware includes zinc plated high grade bolts, washers and Ny-lock nuts. UMI’s P/N 1003 kit works on the 1975-1981 Camaro/Firebird front lower a-arms and 1999-2004 Ford Mustang rear lower control arms. Note: 1970-1974 Camaro and Firebird use ½” standard hardware while 1975-1981 use 14mm metric a-arm hardware. UMI suggests checking your vehicles current hardware size before ordering to confirm. P/N 1003 includes four 10.9 grade 14mm bolts with Ny-lock nuts and washers.
UMI Performance bump steer kits relocate the outer tie rod pivot point which results in decreased toe change during wheel travel. Standard kits include sleeves, rod ends, jam nuts and high quality, direct fit tapered studs. Race kits require drilling of the spindle and include heavy duty 5/8 bolts. Race kits are recommended for autocross and road race applications while standard kits are indicated for street/strip use.
