UMI Performance 1968-1972 GM A-Body Upper & Lower Control Arm Kit - ABR813-R
This is a complete rear suspension kit and includes all items needed to rebuild the rear suspension on your 1964-1972 A-Body. This kit includes tubular lower control arms, tubular upper controls, adjustable frame braces, rear end housing bushings, 1" solid sway bar and new Grade 8 hardware. This is a direct bolt in kit and requires no welding or modifications. Control arms feature grease-able Energy Suspension bushings and are constructed of DOM steel tubing. The lower control arms feature reinforced sway bar holes to work with the new solid chromoly sway bar. The included frame braces are a direct bolt on and do not require denting the floor boards like our competitors design, they are bent to follow the contour of the vehicles floor board. UMI Performance bump steer kits relocate the outer tie rod pivot point which results in decreased toe change during wheel travel. Standard kits include sleeves, rod ends, jam nuts and high quality, direct fit tapered studs. Race kits require drilling of the spindle and include heavy duty 5/8 bolts. Race kits are recommended for autocross and road race applications while standard kits are indicated for street/strip use.
