UMI Performance 1964-1972 GM A-Body Rear Lower Control Arms, Boxed - 4024-B
UMI’s boxed rear lower control arms are a bulletproof addition to your car. Suitable for street, strip or corner carving, these arms minimize suspension deflection for a crisp handling setup and less wheel hop. Sway bar mounting holes are reinforced with TIG welded sleeves to allow factory style sway bar mounting, including UMI’s popular 1” version. UMI’s boxed control arms are CNC machined for accuracy and assembled with high quality greaseable polyurethane bushings.
UMI Performance bump steer kits relocate the outer tie rod pivot point which results in decreased toe change during wheel travel. Standard kits include sleeves, rod ends, jam nuts and high quality, direct fit tapered studs. Race kits require drilling of the spindle and include heavy duty 5/8 bolts. Race kits are recommended for autocross and road race applications while standard kits are indicated for street/strip use.
