UMI Performance 1964-1972 GM A-Body Heater Box Delete Panel - 4030
This delete panel is designed to eliminate both the heater box and blower unit from the engine bay of your vehicle. Removal of the heater box instantly removes 17 pounds from the front of your vehicle while cleaning up unwanted engine bay clutter. Product is CNC machined from 0.125" Aluminum plate and is supplied bare aluminum with a sanded finish. Red or black powder coat is available below for an additional cost, for other colors please e-mail us for availability. Installation: Requires removal of heater box. No drilling required and uses factory holes, some new hardware included. Note: This item is for vehicles equipped with out air condition. This item will not work on vehicles with factory air condition.
UMI Performance bump steer kits relocate the outer tie rod pivot point which results in decreased toe change during wheel travel. Standard kits include sleeves, rod ends, jam nuts and high quality, direct fit tapered studs. Race kits require drilling of the spindle and include heavy duty 5/8 bolts. Race kits are recommended for autocross and road race applications while standard kits are indicated for street/strip use.
