Why Delete VVT?
Variable Valve Timing (VVT) works well for factory camshafts, but when upgrading to aggressive camshaft profiles, the benefits diminish. VVT becomes unreliable in high-performance applications, especially under boost, where the phaser can unintentionally retard cam timing.
The TSP VVT Delete Kit eliminates these issues while also improving installation accuracy with a 3-bolt camshaft design. This prevents common misalignment issues associated with single-bolt VVT camshafts and improves long-term durability.
Important Notes:
A 3-bolt camshaft is required – Factory VVT camshafts are not compatible.
Tuning is required – Ensure your ECU is updated for proper performance.
