RPS C6 Release Bearing Adapter
RPS C6 Release Bearing Adapter to be used with the stock slave cylinder on
all C6 applications running the RPS Clutch Kit
RPS Release Bearing and Adapter C6 applications. Designed to be used on the
stock C6 Slave Cylinder for proper stack height. This rps piston/bearing
adapter is to be used with any of the RPS Clutch Kits making up for the
needed stack height replacement when removing the factory dual mass
flywheel. in past model manufacturers had you shim out the slave cylinder
to make up the stack height difference but on several of the late madel GM
applications you can no longer shim behind the slave cylinder. RPS has
designed this adapter with the larger bearging for proper fitment with the
RPS Kits. The adapter can be trimmed on the bottom side to shorten it if
need be to establish the proper air gap of .300-.350 required when using
stock slave cylinders with the RPS clutch kits.
