This newly engineered mount offers far greater strength and longevity. OEM mounts are prone to failure, due to mileage, abuse and mostly oil deterioration. And, if your Mustang is used like most–spirited driving, competition uses, etc., most likely the factory mount will soon be junk! A blown transmission mount will cause excess movement of transfer case and even engine damage.
