Ortiz Performance has spent the past few years working on and developing our Variable Octane tunes, which take the industry standard "Flex Fuel" tunes and "Auto Octane" tunes a step further, performing internal calculations and analyzing fuel quality the way Ford does from the factory, allowing you to run any fuel type that you desire without the hassle of changing tune calibrations when you change fuel types.
Worried about losing power? Our Variable Octane tunes have been put head to head against our dedicate fueling tunes, and the power variance in neglible, less than 10 hp from tune to tune while enjoying the flexibility to run economy fuel during your weekly commute and then switching to the performance fueling when it's time to hit the track on the weekend.
Additionally, for many strategies we provide a new CONFIG file with our Variable Octane tune that allows you to monitor your ethanol content right non your handheld tuning device. No need for an Ethanol Content Analyzer or testing at the pump, know your real time ethanol content right on your screen with our VO datalog configuration files.
