This is an Add-On, it is no longer a feature included for free with any tuning service purchased. Current tuning customers still have to purchase this add-on if they would like it added to their custom tune.
Due to our tuning workload, once you place your order and submit your tune request, you will receive your updated tune within 7-10 days. As it is not a critical step in tuning, it comes second to our custom tuning service.
Once you place your order, you will recieve a link to submit a request to have it added to your existing tune. If you are not a current Ortiz Performance tuning customer we will respond to your email with a request to purchase Ortiz Performance tuning support to continue.
While this add-on is friendly for use with catalytic converters, it is not intended for daily use and prolonged use may have adverse effects on the integrity of the catalytic converters. Ortiz Performance is not responsible for any damage to emissions monitoring equipment, and this tune is noted as for OFF ROAD use only.
After much development, Ortiz Performance is ready to launch our Cereal tune (Chop/Crackle/Pop) for our existing and future customers. This is our combination ghost cam (Choppy idle for cat-deleted and VCT-enabled customers) as well as our Crackle & Pop "Burble" tune.
Tunes will be provided as an add-on to existing tuning maps, so that you will have an option of with/without depending on your preference.
Ghost Cam "Chop" Tune - Idle characteristic to mimmick that of a high lift and duration performance camshaft. Give your VCT-equipped Ford vehicle the aggresive idle to make your performance. Added to our performance tunes to retain existing performance characteristics.
Burble "Crackle & Pop" Tune - This is our take on the popular "Crackle" tune many customers offer. Giving a sudden pop and low grumble on decel. For Automatic customers, use manual shifting to accelerate to above 4000 rpm and then allow the vehicle to decel on it's own, typically in SPORT mode. This allows you to choose when you experience the Burble and when you want to remain in stealth mode.
Bravo 240 "Extreme Pop" Tune - Exclusive from Ortiz Performance, our Bravo 240 tune is just that, the sounds of a true American muscle car. Bald eagles and F-18s soar overhead as you're driving down the street. Your neighbors hate you, but who cares? If you're ready to be heard long before you're seen, this is the update for you.
Unlike our previous complimentary options, we will be offering datalogged revisions to perfect the drivability and performance for your vehicle, versus the "here you go" approach that many other tuners have with the Ghost Cam and Crackle tunes.
