MSD 87311 Mustang 2-Step Launch Control - 87311 (2016-2017 5.0L)
MSD wants your time at the track or drag strip to be awesome, so if you've been searching for that extra boost of power, than this launch module is exactly what you need! You'll be able to launch your Mustang anywhere from 1,800 RPM and 9,900 RPM in 100 RPM increments. It will give your pony more consistent launches, meaning you'll have faster 60-foot times and quicker ET/MPH down the quarter mile. When the 2-Step Module is activated, the set RPM will be held steady. Once the green LED lights up, slip your foot off the clutch and you’re off. The launch RPM can be adjusted by two rotary dials that are built onto the module.

Please Note:Due to a manufacturing change in the factory coil pack wiring harness, this will NOT fit 2011-2016 5.0L Mustangs built before February 23rd, 2016 or 2018+ Mustang GT with Direct Injection. Please see MSD-8731 for those models.
NOTE: This product can be modified to work on a 2018-up Mustang GT, however it is not intended for use on Direct Injection 2018-up Mustangs.
