Maximum Motorsports K-member spacer kit, 1/2" thick, with longer bolts. Includes four aluminum spacer plates that fit between the K-member and the chassis plus longer K-member attachment bolts. Reuses the OEM nuts and nut-plates.
- Adds clearance between the top of the engine and the hood, which can help with engine swaps such as a 5.4L Triton into an SN95 Mustang.
- With a front coil-over kit the spacers have no effect on ride height; they move the K-member down toward the ground.
- Fits 1979-2004 Mustangs with any stock or aftermarket K-member.
Installation considerations
- Ground clearance may be reduced.
- Caster/camber plate strut shaft spacer positions may need changing.
- The transmission mount may need modification and pinion angle adjustment to maintain driveline angles.
- The steering shaft will need extending (an MM telescoping steering shaft is suggested).
- Front suspension geometry may change; a front-end alignment is required.
