Icon 21-23 Bronco Rear 2.5 Vs Rr Cdev Coilover Kit Heavy Rate Spring - 48711E
ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir rear coilover shocks with CDEV are the ideal upgrade for the rear end of the 2021-2023 Ford Bronco. These adjustable coilovers allow up to 2-3” of rear lift height adjustability on 4-door Broncos without the Sasquatch package or 1.25-2.25” of rear lift over stock 4-door Sasquatch equipped Broncos, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON’s Vehicle-specific shock length and valving along with the larger 2.5” shock body and increased piston area over stock components yield the maximum travel possible along with superior ride quality and suspension performance both on- and off-road. Reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Electronic Valves (CDEV) are included to allow for lightning fast, precise electronic shock tuning, on-the-fly, at any speed and in any terrain. Focus on driving and let ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) read the terrain and make near-instant adjustments via the CDEV at each individual shock. Control the system wirelessly through the IIC app on your phone and once configured the system functions without driver input. ICON 2.5 Series front coilovers with CDEV and matching IIC module are required for installation but vehicle control will be actively balanced front to rear, resulting in the best overall driving experience for your Ford Bronco.
These rear coilovers are mounted in a shaft up orientation and feature unique ICON engineered progressive dual rate coil springs that provide extra weight capacity for those who frequently load out their Broncos with extra gear and equipment while maintaining excellent on- and off-road performance characteristics. Their shaft up orientation requires the reservoir hose to be routed along the rear lower links so ICON offers hose bracket options for the OE or ICON tubular links while ICON billet links incorporate this bracketry into their design.
Increased wheel travel (up to 14”) and ride quality over stock
FK rod end bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection
Fully rebuildable and re-tunable
100% Bolt-on - no drilling, cutting or welding necessary for installation
Vehicle specific tuned for superior shock damping and control
Remote reservoirs maintain cooler operating temperatures during extended off-road use
ICON's CDE Valve technology allows for in vehicle adjustment of compression damping settings and active adjustment via the ICON Intelligent Control (IIC)
ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) uses onboard sensors to monitor G-forces and movement of vehicle chassis along with user defined settings to actively make near instantaneous compression damping changes
Adjustable up to 2-3" of rear lift height on non-Sasquatch or 1.25-2.25” of rear lift on Sasquatch Broncos
Unique ICON engineered dual rate coil springs with increased spring rates for heavier equipped Broncos
6061 Aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components
Corrosion resistant CAD plated shock bodies with 7/8" diameter shaft
Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) is an electronically controlled valve that meters the flow of oil to regulate the amount of damping force that is created by the shock when compressed. This infinitely variable valve can react in less than 40ms and has the ability to make extremely precise adjustments for varying terrain. CDEV’s hydraulic circuits are also custom tailored per application to create the highest resolution and dynamic range allowable for each specific vehicle. Powered by ICON Intelligent Control and proprietary ICON mobile app, the system uses information from the onboard G-force sensor and Gyroscope to perform calculations based on algorithms and user-defined settings to predict terrain and adjust shock settings via the CDEV accordingly.
