The Mounting Hardware Kit for the Hellwig Load Pro (LP) helper springs include zinc-plated hardware and brackets and is required to be purchased with every LP-25 and LP-35 leaf helper spring kit for proper installation. These kits are vehicle specific to allow the spring kits to mount with no modification.

This led to unsafe changes in the handling and likely caused a lot of accidents. Rudy manufactured his Helper Springs at night in his shop and would sell and install them in a customer's driveway with the help of his son Don. For over 70 years, Hellwig Products has remained a family business. Don's son Mark joined the company in the 1960s and currently serves as president. Melanie Hellwig White came to the business after gaining experience in other industries and now holds the title of vice president. Melanie is proud to be the fourth generation Hellwig working in the family business.
