Not sure why, still trying to determine why this filter leaked. Developed a drip on base of filter. Removed .... made sure there was only one o-ring seal present and reinstalled. Leaked again. Removed and replaced with different filter, no leaks.
Cut filter to examine and could not find anything wrong (looks like a well made filter), but I believe a seam was leaking.
