1|Upgrade the engine compartment of any 2015-2022 Mustang with the AlumaLift Hood Strut System from Drake Muscle Cars. This high-tech system provides smooth controlled opening of the hood allowing owners to get rid of the flimsy prop rod. Each system features long extruded aluminum hood reinforcement brackets with multiple mounting points to prevent the Mustang's aluminum hood from flexing or distorting during operation.Unlike other hood strut kits that use weak plastic joints, the AlumaLift system utilizes heavy-duty stainless steel ball and socket joints that won't break or wear out. Precision tuned gas struts effortlessly raise the hood with a fluid motion, then slows to a stop without any jerky movement. Each system includes stainless steel hardware and thorough instructions for a professional installation.
