Feeds your 6.7L Cummins engine cooler, denser, ambient air. Improves throttle response, fuel economy., and filtration. Allows for greater sustained power. Eliminates airflow restrictions found in the factory intake. Delivers a 51% increase in mass air flow over stock. Banks Ram-Air Intake feeds your 6.7L Cummins engine cooler, denser, ambient air for greater power and fuel economy. Experience the benefits of greater flow, performance, and sound over stock. Tested and validated using computational fluid dynamics software, flowbench and on-highway. Why It's BetterMaximum Mass Air FlowBy providing denser air to the turbo, the Banks Ram-Air system reduces the work required by the compressor. The turbo can spin slower and make the same boost. This slower compressor speed also unloads the turbine, liberating horsepower otherwise lost on the exhaust stroke.Compared to the rest, the Banks Ram-Air® is the only intake able to feed enough air into our Monster-Ram Intake Elbow without acting as a throttle on the engine. When matched with a Monster-Ram Intake Elbow and 3.5in Banks Boost-Tubes, maximum engine efficiency can be achieved, bringing enhanced fuel economy and consistent power delivery.Key Features: Increases throttle response and reduces turbo lag. "Big Ass Filter" extends service life and requires fewer cleanings. Lightweight and durable XLPE mold insulates against heat-soak. 51% increase in air mass over stock. Enclosed housing keeps out hot, power-robbing engine-heated air. Oversized airbox increases cool air volume around filter. More audible and aggressive induction note. Connects to OEM ram-air scoop. 5-year Limited Warranty. No check engine light. Oiled air filter element
