ARB Arb Winch 10 000 Lbs - ARW100SA
The next generation of winch technology arrives with a compact all-in-one motor control design that delivers clean fitment and smooth reliable operation. Built with top-tier components and validated through rigorous performance testing the integrated motor control unit sits within the winch itself allowing it to work seamlessly with modern bumpers and vehicle sensors. A custom Albright contactor is built in to provide seamless power while the direct-connection design enhances motor efficiency for steady responsive control without the need for a separate control box. The system also features a compact pre-wired layout for quick installation a 16-position clockable clutch handle for flexible mounting and an IP68 rating that protects against dust and water intrusion. Engineered for durability and long service life the ARB Winch incorporates a 4-stage hardened steel gearbox for maximum toughness a one-piece bridging plate for improved torsional rigidity and a tuned 12-volt motor that delivers fast line speeds. A gearbox-mounted brake ensures 100% load holding even in demanding conditions. Control is managed through a compact hand controller that works wirelessly at distances up to forty meters or via a five-meter lead for direct connection. A remote-mounted control plug enables hidden installations while the 2.4GHz wireless link prevents signal interference. The system is completed with a 500-amp power isolation switch equipped with a stainless lanyard and protective dust cover.
The ARB Winch features a custom Albright contactor that connects directly to the motor. This improvement increases efficiency and removes the need for a bulky control box.
Development - To ensure we meet your expectations ARB invests heavily in research and development. Our design and engineering team utilizes the latest CAD CAM parametric modeling systems and finite element analysis packages and is supported by subcontract companies and universities for special projects like vibration strength and crash testing. With an air bag equipped vehicle for example it is essential that the vehicle?s crush rate and air bag triggering is not altered when a bull bar is installed. Our exhaustive testing programs ensure ARB bull bars meet these requirements. We also devote considerable time and resources toward to sourcing new products from around the world. IPF lights from Japan Warn winches from the US? we scan the globe in search of equipment that meets both the demands of our customers and our own stringent quality requirements. What?s more we?re also constantly on the lookout for new ways to improve our business practices from distribution to customer service. ARB is a Quality Endorsed Company and wherever we can we endeavor to ?raise the bar?.
A 500A isolation switch with universal mount is included with the ARB Winch. It comes complete with a stainless lanyard and dust cover for safe and reliable operation.
Gearbox-mounted brake ensures 100% load holding and allows powered unspooling under no load without damaging the winch easing unspooling efforts.
4-Stage Gearbox with hardened steel gears provides superior load distribution with the 171:1 ratio allows for fast line speed while maintaining pulling power.
Dual connection remote with 2.4GHz wireless with sealed receiver circuitry for a stronger secure connection eliminating interference or remote conflict.
Remote mounted control plug for low profile or hidden winch mounting without losing the ability to hardwire the controller.
One piece bridging plate offers greater torsional strength.
Prewired connections versatile mounting options and preset clutch positioning allow for fast and hassle-free installation. 16 positions (22.5 deg) for clocking the clutch handle for more installation options.
History - The origins of ARB can be traced back to Australia?s remote Top End
circa 1975. A region of vast distances and rugged terrain
it was fast becoming a Mecca for the nation?s burgeoning 4WD community. However
the very environment that attracted 4 wheelers also wreaked havoc on their equipment ? when driving in extreme conditions
only the best 4?4 accessories will do. This was the conclusion drawn by Tony Brown during his travels at the time. While exploring the treasures of the Top End
the skills Tony gained from working on his Land Rover were regularly called on to mend damaged bull bars and broken roof racks. Bar work back then was crude
not at all suited to overland touring
and through this experience an idea was born ? high quality equipment that met the vigorous demands of 4WD owners. Upon returning to Melbourne
Tony put theory into practice via the family garage
where he sought to address the product deficiencies he?d encountered. His vision called for a combination of sound design principles and reliable raw materials? a simple solution to an endemic problem. The concept was embraced when it hit the fledgling 4?4 market
and ARB ? the initials of Anthony Ronald Brown ? was founded. Today
ARB is Australia?s largest manufacturer and distributor of 4?4 accessories. We also have an international presence
with an office in the US and an export network that extends through more than 80 countries around the globe. Our philosophy
however
has never wavered from its original course ? quality
reliability and practicality above all else.
