The APR Stage 3 PowerMax GT2563S Turbocharger System for the MK8 Golf R / S3 Platform is a direct bolt-on upgrade. The kit includes a Garrett turbocharger, install kit, and an upgrade to APR software and delivers up to 470 HP and 406 FTLBS of torque on 93 octane fuel! This upgrade is designed to make maximum power with an intake and intercooler and requires no additional hardware!
The Garret PowerMax GT2563S Turbocharger offers an additional 20% compressor flow and 37% turbine flow compared to the factory Continental turbocharger in a direct replacement bolt-on package. Additionally since the turbine wheel is constructed from a Mar-M alloy rated for 1050°C the system is able to run under extreme conditions without an impact on reliability.
The kit includes an upgrade to APR Stage 3 software from the lower stages. This tune is designed to deliver the prescribed power with only our intake and intercoolers system. No costly or emissions impacting exhaust system, fueling, or sensors are required at this power level. We've made sure to ensure torque is flat and safe as to not stress the engine internals, and we've kept exhaust temperature and turbine shaft speed within Garrett's prescribed limits for system reliability.
