Low, Loud, and Just Getting Started

For suspension, Jake chose IHC Suspension's 4/6 drop kit, a well-engineered way to give the truck an aggressive stance without sacrificing real-world usability. The 4-inch front and 6-inch rear drop complements the factory body lines, kills the factory rake, and dials in that leveled, custom look. Out back, upgraded FOX shocks bring excellent ride quality and damping, smoothing rough pavement while staying responsive when driving hard or towing. To keep it practical at the lower ride height, Jake added the IHC helper bag kit, so he can fine-tune rear ride height and firmness by load. Show-ready stance, real-truck function.

The truck is naturally aspirated for now, but Jake has already laid the groundwork for serious power. The plan is to boost the Coyote with a Whipple or a ProCharger, both proven on this platform and good for 600 to 700+ hp. In prep, it runs a PMAS cold air intake, a high-flow open-element design that frees up airflow and adds induction noise over the restrictive stock airbox. On top of that is a custom E85 tune by Rob Shoemaker of Shoemaker Performance, flashed via SCT. The E85 calibration uses ethanol's cooling and knock resistance to add timing and torque even in the truck's N/A state, and it will be essential once forced induction goes on.

The visual upgrades continue with Cervini's 3-inch cowl hood, paint-matched to factory color for a seamless OEM-plus look, adding aggression and engine-bay airflow. Jake went all in on Lethal Performance painted parts: mirror caps, door handles, front and rear emblems, tailgate handle, and the STX grille assembly, ditching the factory chrome and textured plastic for a cohesive finish. For lighting, Morimoto XB Series V1 LED taillights and a matching LED third brake light upgrade brightness and clarity, and up front he runs Euro-spec OEM Ford Raptor headlights converted for full function, a premium look with far better nighttime visibility than stock halogens.
