The Tuning Process
The Tune Shop at Lethal Performance is your one-stop-shop for late model Ford custom tuning! Whether you are looking for a tune for your Mustang GT, EcoBoost F-150 or Shelby GT500, we have the tuning setup you're looking for. We use devices from SCT Performance and HP Tuners for the best performing tunes and offer custom tunes from the best aftermarket tuners in the industry, including Lund Racing, Palm Beach Dyno, Oz Tuning and Ortiz Performance.
The Custom Tuning Process Here at The Tune Shop
Lund Racing
Epic choice! Lund Racing is one of the top tuners for Mustangs, F-150s and more, having tuned some of the fastest (if not THE fastest) Mustangs in the country. Their no-bull approach to tuning ensures you've got the best running vehicle with no issues.
Once you've placed your order we will email you a link to the form to fill out for your custom tune. This is where you will list your vehicle information, modifications, and any requests for your custom tune. After you've submitted the form, it gets sent directly to Lund Racing and a "ticket" will be started between you, the customer, and your tuner at Lund Racing. All contact from therein will be directly between you and Lund Racing. The typical lead time for receiving your initial tune is 2-3 days*, however multiple revisions can extend this time.
Lund Racing TDN Invite Code**: The TDN invite code will be emailed to you directly once you have filled out the form.

If you've opted for remote tuning from Lund Racing (required for all power adders and extreme N/A setups):
Remote sessions include full datalogging support to dial in the modifications done to the vehicle. Lund Racing will look at the logs and send revisions until the tune is complete for your vehicle.
Lund Racing will email you their datalog instructions with the initial tune file that is sent. You will datalog initial logs following these instructions to send back to Lund Racing for inspection. This initial datalogging usually entails an idle, neutral rev, and cruise log so that they can review and make sure all part throttle events are dialed in before proceeding to wide open throttle tuning.
After the initial datalogs and revisions are sent back and forth and Lund Racing is happy with them, they will give instructions for wide open throttle (WOT) tuning. You can choose to perform your datalogging on the street or a dyno. If a dyno is utilized, it will need to be scheduled with Lund Racing ahead of time via email.
Palm Beach Dyno
Great choice! Palm Beach Dyno, home of Ken Bjonnes, is constantly evolving with technology, making sure to stay up to date and on top of updates to ensure YOU have the quickest, best performance ride. They pump out some of the fastest GT500s and have sent some insane builds down the track.
Once you've placed your order we will email you a link to the form to fill out for your custom tune. This is where you will list your vehicle information, modifications, and any requests for your custom tune. After you've submitted the form back to us, we will give the information to Palm Beach Dyno who assigns it a Tune Number. Once this has been assigned, all future contact will be directly through Palm Beach Dyno and you via email. The typical lead time for receiving your initial tune is 2-3 days*, however multiple revisions can extend this time.

If you've opted for remote tuning from Palm Beach Dyno:
Palm Beach Dyno Remote Tuning can be done in a variety of ways, but the important detail is that Palm Beach Dyno is tuning your vehicle through the internet at your location. A base file is provided according to the modifications on your vehicle. You then log the car per Palm Beach Dyno's instructions and email it to their support site (http://support.pbdyno.com) making sure to include your Tune Number. Palm Beach Dyno will review the datalog, create a revision if necessary and provide further instructions.
This process is repeated until the car is fully tuned both at WOT and part throttle. The logging can be done on a dyno of your choice, while driving the car on the street or a combination of both. If you have purchased the Gold Level or Platinum Level Remote Tuning, you can call Palm Beach Dyno for phone support OR schedule your Trackside Support Sessions directly with them, making sure to reference your original Tune Number.
