1100rwhp 2020 Shelby GT500

When Ford dropped the 2020 Shelby GT500, we didn’t just want one—we wanted to dominate with it. Our Carbon Fiber Track Pack-equipped GT500 is more than a showroom stunner; it’s a purpose-built street-and-strip weapon that showcases what Lethal Performance is all about. From the moment it rolled off the lot, we knew this car wasn’t destined for stock status—it was destined for 8s.

What started as a factory-fresh CFTP quickly escalated into a full-blown horsepower warhorse. The heartbeat? A Whipple 3.8L supercharger fed by a triple pump return-style fuel system from DivisionX and Lethal, all tuned to perfection by Lund Racing. On a Mustang Dyno, it laid down over 1120rwhp—and then backed it up at the track with an 8-second pass, making it one of the fastest DCT GT500s in the country.

This build is a comprehensive look at how we take a platform with potential and push it well past the factory’s imagination. Below, you’ll find our full modification list, dyno results, track data, and a playlist documenting every step of the journey. Whether you’re chasing 1000+hp or just want to know what it takes to run 8s in a DCT GT500, this page is your launch pad.

Want to see exactly how we turned a bone-stock Carbon Fiber Track Pack GT500 into an 8-second monster? This playlist covers every step — from first mods and dyno runs to fueling upgrades, Whipple installation, and full track shakedowns. Whether you're planning your own Predator build or just want to watch one get pushed to its limits, this series delivers the goods.

We’re running Whipple’s 3.8L Gen 5 twin-screw supercharger, paired with a 2.75” GripTec upper pulley for maximum boost and belt grip under load. It’s one of the largest blower options available for the GT500 Predator platform.

On Lund Racing’s custom E85 tune, this GT500 put down over 1120rwhp and 844rwtq on a Mustang Dyno. That power level pushed the car to an 8.86-second quarter mile at 163mph.

We run a full Lethal Performance / DivisionX triple pump return-style fuel system, built around “The Box” — our proprietary fuel hat system that supports well over 1,500hp on E85.

Yes, the stock Tremec TR-9070 DCT remains untouched internally. With proper tuning and supporting mods, the factory dual-clutch handles over 1100rwhp reliably — though we've optimized launch strategy and datalogging via Lund Racing.

We’re running Stainless Works longtube headers into a Corsa Performance double X-pipe catback. It keeps flow high and backpressure low while delivering that signature Whipple-whistle and Predator bark.

The car rides on Forgeline GS1R wheels — 20x8.5 up front and 18x11 beadlocks in the rear — wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street R drag radials for optimal hook on prep.

From the showroom floor to the 8-second zone, this GT500 build is proof that Lethal Performance doesn’t just follow trends — we set them. Every part, every pass, every tweak tells the story of what’s possible when you combine world-class tuning, bulletproof hardware, and a little obsession. Whether you’re chasing numbers or just building your dream street car, this Shelby is your blueprint.
