UMI Performance Control Arm Roto-Joint End, ¾”-16 Left Hand Thread- GM B-Body - 90020-L
This fabricated Roto-Joint is designed to replace spherical rod ends on UMI Performance control arms for the 1978-1996 GM B-Body. This item will also work on many other brand control arms for the above listed vehicles that utilize a ¾”-16 left hand threaded rod end. See part # 0020 for right hand threaded Roto Joint.
This Bushing end is designed to replace ¾”-16 left hand threaded rod ends by simply removing the rod end and screwing in this Roto-Joint assembly. This item works excellent to replace worn out rod ends or rod ends making unbearable noise. The Roto-Joint is an easy replacement and is supplied fully assembled with grease fitting, new jam nut and a clear zinc finish. Bushing width is 2.600” with 3/4”-16 right hand threads, 2.000” of thread adjustment and accepts a 14mm bolt. Our replacement bushing end features threads CNC machined from 4140 Chrome Moly steel, DOM tubing and TIG welded for superior strength and thread durability.
UMI Performance bump steer kits relocate the outer tie rod pivot point which results in decreased toe change during wheel travel. Standard kits include sleeves, rod ends, jam nuts and high quality, direct fit tapered studs. Race kits require drilling of the spindle and include heavy duty 5/8 bolts. Race kits are recommended for autocross and road race applications while standard kits are indicated for street/strip use.
