They’ve taken this expertise and applied to their charge pipes designs for the 2017-2022 Ford Super Duty Trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel. This particular unit is the Hot Side charge pipe and designed to reduce restriction and can be used alone or it pairs perfectly with the Injen Cold Side Charge pipe, P/N SES9004ICPC.
This hot side charge pipe is an upgrade over the factory unit and is manufactured from oversized mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum and every bend and TIG weld is completed by hand at the Injen Technology headquarters in Pomona, California. Having an internal diameter of 3.00in, this hot side charge pipe is able to reduce restriction and quickly transfer hot air smoothly to the intercooler. It also aides in balancing airflow into the intercooler to improve performance and also helps lower engine damaging exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).
For optimum performance, pair this charge pipe with the Injen SES9004ICPC cold side pipe or purchase them as a complete unit under one part number – SES9004ICP. As always, these charge pipes are available with three different finishes; Polished, Wrinkle Black, and finally Wrinkle Red.
