The Anderson Composites Type-CJ Double-Sided Carbon Fiber Cowl Hood is built for serious clearance and a clean look. Designed specifically for the 2024 Mustang platform, it features a taller center section for added engine bay space — ideal for builds running larger intakes or positive displacement blowers where the stock hood falls short.

This version is double-sided carbon fiber: 3K, 2x2 twill cloth on both the top and underside. It’s vacuum infused for consistent strength and light weight, and finished in a polished marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors to keep the gloss from fading over time.

The hood mounts using OE hardware (not included), and like most aftermarket carbon fiber parts, some light adjustments may be needed during install. It’s currently under development, so if you’re running a boosted setup or planning to go that route, this is one to keep on your radar.

• A heat shield is required for safe and proper use.
• Always close composite hoods gently. Slamming or dropping the hood can result in cracking and is not covered under warranty.
• Do not reinstall gas shocks, dampers, or struts. Anderson Composites does not recommend their use with composite hoods.
• We strongly recommend using a hood prop rod to safely support the hood when open.
