Vortech Superchargers High Output YSI Tuner Kit - 8 Rib, Satin (2011-2014 Mustang GT & Boss 302)


Vortech Supercharger kit for the 2011-2014 Mustang 5.0L features a V-7 YSI trim headunit for maximum power gains. "Large blower" performance in a smaller package that fits most existing Vortech bracketry. The V-7 Series combines the advanced technology and race-proven performance and fits most of our existing mounting bracketry. The V-7 is designed for vehicles with highly modified engines and extreme CFM/boost demands. All units feature our exclusive D-port volute for improved efficiency and require the use of a Vortech Racing Bypass Valve or larger to meet discharge flow demands. The heavy duty (H/D) configuration includes high speed, ceramic hybrid ball bearings, ideal for race applications, and is compatible with cog pulley/Gilmer style drive setups.

Kit details:

· For the serious enthusiast who wants serious power – upgrades from street system include Vortech YSI TRIM H/D compressor, 8-Rib drive upgrade, and Maxflow Competition Air Inlet. Up to 1,000 horsepower potential!

· Heavy duty (H/D) oil fed compressor configuration includes high speed, ceramic hybrid ball bearings, suitable for race applications and/or high boost, high horsepower street use.

· Easy to install dual plate mounting system combines rigidity with light weight for an optimized mounting solution. All pulleys and hardware included.

· Air inlet assembly is features high-flow construction, and includes 98mm MAF housing configured for “blow through” use. An integrated air straightener upstream of the MAF housing allows for enhanced drivability, while the included Maxflow Race Bypass Valve assures surge-free compressor operation.

· Competition Air Inlet accessory kit consists of an open airbox design with a large cone-style filter for improved air inlet flow potential over factory airbox design.

•Engine coolant reservoir replacement assembly

•Billet aluminum and steel supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idlers, drive belt and all hardware. Mount features multiple position idler location for a wide range of belt and pulley fits.

•Discharge components include:

•Welded air/air charge cooler. 24”L x 13”T x 3.5” cooler core.

•Mandrel bent 3” aluminum charge tubes for high flow and minimal weight

•Stainless steel clamps
