UPR's Adjustable Rear Spring Mount allows the use of a smaller diameter racing style spring in place of the factory spring to allow for more tire clearance with or without mini tubs. When the stock spring location is required by class rules, and you want to tune your suspension with different spring rates, this is THE solution . The fully adjustable upper spring mount allows you to install springs of different heights and rates to fit any tire size or adjust ride height up to 1 3/4" at the spring. We offer a full line of Viking springs to be used anywhere from Street, Road Race and Drag Race applications.

*The factory rear spring rate on most Foxbody Mustangs were said to be in the 13.5in, 185lb range, some say the 4 cylinder springs were as low as a 145 lb rate.  As you go shorter in length, you need to go up in rate to compensate.  For a factory-like ride quality you can choose a 12"200lb spring and adjust your ride height.  Go with a lighter spring for drag racing or a heavier / shorter spring for performance handling.

Quality Construction: Tig welded in Billet fixture and adjusted CNC Machined for a perfect fit.

Installs in 3 hours or less.

Requires welding in the mounting plate.
