Texas Speed & Performance is proud to offer our Gen 4 resleeved aluminum GM engine block using state-of-the-art, American made dry sleeves! We are machining and installing Power Bore and Darton sleeves at our facility using new GM Gen 4 aluminum blocks using only the best CNC equipment available. Both sleeve brands have steps in them to alleviate the possibility of ever "dropping" a sleeve, which could be a problem with straight sleeves. We are using two different size sleeves that will allow for bore sizes from 4.00" all the way up to 4.185"!

Both Power Bore and Darton sleeves offer a much higher tensile strength than standard GM sleeves, and you also get a much thicker sleeve that will not distort as much under extreme conditions such as boost or nitrous use. Both brands are 100% made in the USA for the best quality possible! Blocks such as the LS3 and LSA have incredibly thin sleeves from GM, so the resleeved block is a great option for those needing thicker sleeves for more extreme builds. The LS7 block is well known for having brittle sleeves that crack under higher horsepower, which usually cracks the aluminum behind the sleeve as well. Resleeving the block before there is an issue is a great option that can save you money in the long run from a catastrophic failure.

Please note that if you do decide to supply your block for sleeving and you have had any type of engine failure, there is a chance that your block will not be usable for sleeving. We will to inspect your block once it arrives at our facility to determine if it can be used. We will only be able to resleeve Gen 4 LS and Gen 5 LT aluminum blocks. Gen 3 aluminum blocks cannot be resleeved. We do not recommend larger than a 4.125" bore size for any power-adder use. The blocks will come standard needing ALL required machine work completed. It will not be a finished block ready to assemble unless you select the option for it.

If you select the option to add cam bearings, cylinder boring & honing, line honing, & finish decking, you will either need to purchase a crankshaft from us or send us your existing crankshaft to properly measure for the line honing. We will NOT line hone your block based on measurements that you supply.
