This SuperForged Big Brake Kit Our was specifically designed for the Ford Explorer ST and provides an immediate and noticeable upgrade in performance and style. We tested and tweaked our system for over a year-and-a-half, through 4 seasons, to ensure that if we offered a performance braking system that could handle multiple duty levels. The result is a system that not only handles its business on the street during daily driving -  but also performs just as well as more expensive, over-engineered 8 piston kits. Make no mistake, this braking system was designed for track performance as well as daily safety. 

It all start with massive 405mm front and 380mm rear two-piece floating ventilated discs - you can choose a drilled, slotted or a drilled-and-slotted surface. Our rotors were designed and tested to minimize fade and dissipate heat under extreme braking situations across all 4 seasons. Our 6-piston front, 4 piston rear are mono block calipers that are precision machined from lightweight aircraft quality billet aluminum and feature heavy duty aluminum pistons mated to temperature resistant seals. This translates into a dramatically increased braking experience that delivers steady, even and predictable force to the rotors. 

Also included are new stainless steel kevlar reinforced brake lines. When it comes to pads, we include ceramic graphite pads that are low noise, low dust and street ready. Bolting on the kit is easy. We provide specially designed adaptors that bolt directly onto your Explorer ST. Everything in this kit is absolutely compatible with Ford’s OEM master cylinder, ABS and traction control systems - no modifications to existing OEM systems are required. 

Street Pack Wheel Fitment Note: YOU WILL NEED SPACERS! If you plan to install this kit on an Explorer with OEM 21" Black Street Pack Wheels - you WILL need a .25" spacer on the REAR to ensure our rear calipers will properly clear the spokes.
